Priory Woods School & Arts College A Special Place to Learn

Curriculum

Priory Woods School and Arts College curriculum model is comprised of three pathways: informal, semi-formal and formal, from EYFS through to Post 16. We deliver a curriculum that has breadth, balance and challenge. It is tailored and relevant to the individual needs of our pupils, however, we see the distinctions between each pathway as being flexible allowing for movement between the models for some pupils. Our curriculum engages and motivates learners to be successful in their own right, make progress and live happy and healthy lives, it aligns to long term outcomes for learners in preparing students for life post 19.

As we continue to work on our website you will be able to search: Priory Woods School and Arts College curriculum and assessment pathways; the intent, implementation and impact for each learning area, examples of planning for each curriculum pathway; photographs of our pupils' journeys and an insight into subject specific areas of our curriculum, e.g. PSHE, ICT, Creative and Preparation for Adulthood.

We use a variety of assessment systems to meet the needs of the individual pupils and showcase the pupils work on Evidence for Learning.

If you would like further information about any aspect of our curriculum, please contact Emma Fox via office@priorywoodsschool.com.
