SENDING
YOUR STORIES AND ARTWORK
Once the online story form is completed, it can be sent simply by
clicking the computer 'send' icon. Will will acknowledge receipt
of your story by displaying a 'thank you' page.
Stories
can also be sent using the file transfer form. These can either
be written (or copied) directly into a word processor file. We can
accept files from Clicker 4, WWS200, MS Word, MS Publisher, MS Wordpad,
2simple IVT or even as scanned paper and pencil writing.
Pictures
are also sent using the file transfer form. These can scanned, photographed
or created in any art package. We will accept files in any graphic
format. Bandwidth is not a problem, please don't sacrifice picture
quality for smaller file sizes. You can also send your pictures
by post and we will scan or photograph them for you.
TALKING
STORIES
Many children with learning difficulties will find writing a story
on paper quite challenging. We would encourage you to look at alternative
ways of recording their work. Creating a talking story may be one
approach. Stories could be narrated and recorded onto the computer
for conversion to wav or mp3 files. These can be sent using the
file transfer form in the same way as with artwork. If you are not
sure how to do this simply send us the tape by post and we will
do the rest for you.
INTERACTIVE
STORY BOOKS
Some classes are making big books of giant stories, where each pupil
writes and illustrates a page of the book. We have created a simple
interactive book template in MS Powerpoint that you can use for
these stories. These books work really well on an interactive whiteboard.
Simply click on the page to add text and graphics. If you would
like to publish your class (or school) book, send it to us using
the file transfer form. We'll do the rest. |
