1 - Vacancy for 1 Full time Teacher

Fixed Term Contract for 1 term from September 2019 (immediate start) – 31st December 2019
(With the possibility of this being extended to up to 2 terms)

Salary MPS / UPS + SEN1(Currently £2149)

We are an all age (4-19) special school in Middlesbrough and we work with children and young people with a range of learning difficulties, including Severe Learning Difficulties, Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties, and Complex Learning Difficulties and Disabilities.

2 - Level 3 Specialist Teaching Assistant –(maternity cover)

Salary: £11,142 - £11,824 annual actual salary (21 hours) Grade G (12-15)

Hours: 21 hours per week, term time only plus one week

Contractual status: Fixed Term maternity cover to start ASAP – 3rd April 2020

Priory Woods School and Arts College is a large and successful school for young people aged 4 – 19 with severe, profound and multiple learning difficulties and complex needs. We currently have a vacancy for two 35 hour teaching assistants.

If you are a suitably qualified, highly motivated, creative and are competent in the use of ICT across the curriculum, then please apply.

3 - Level 2 Specialist Teaching Assistant

Salary: Actual salary £13,910 Grade E Point 8

Hours: 30 hours per week, term time only plus 1 week

Contractual status: Fixed Term contract – 31st August 2020

We currently have a vacancy for a Level 2 Specialist Teaching Assistant to support a small group of pupils on a one to one basis.

If you are suitably qualified, highly motivated and interested in joining our outstanding school then please apply.

4 - Level 2 Specialist Teaching Assistant

5 - Level 1 Specialist Teaching Assistant

Salary: £13,370 actual salary Grade C Point 6

Hours: 30 hours per week, term time only plus one week

Contractual status: Fixed Term contract – reviewed annually 31st August

Priory Woods School and Arts College is a large and successful school for young people aged 4 – 19 with severe, profound and multiple learning difficulties and complex needs. We currently have a vacancy for a 30 hour teaching assistant post to support a pupil on a one to one basis.

The successful applicant must have:

  • Experience of working with or caring for children
  • A good understanding of special educational needs
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Ability to work constructively as part of a team
  • Willingness to undertake training and learn new skills.
  • An appropriate recognised qualification equivalent or commitment to gaining the qualification – NVQ 2 Care & Education
