Rice Pictures

We explored cooked rice then mixed it with PVA glue. We explored uncooked rice then put into a clear pot with some brusho ink powder and a tiny amount of water. We put a lid on and shook the rice, it changed colour! We took the lid off the pot and left the coloured rice to dry out.

We placed the cooked rice and PVA glue onto a sheet of copier transparency sheet, then sprinkled on the dry coloured rice to create a pattern We left the patterns to thoroughly dry out. We then carefully peeled the patterns off the sheet and mounted them on card……Sticking the rice patterns on with a glue gun. Look at the vibrant patterns we made!
