Tuesday March 26th is Purple Day which is an international event to increase awareness about epilepsy worldwide.

This year we would like to really to increase awareness and raise money for the charity Abbie’s Love. Abbie’s Love are a local charity that have supplied at least 150 families with bed alarms which have proved vital for families. Their donations have also provided at least 200 video baby monitors to James Cook Hospital and buy specialist equipment for the EEG department which improves diagnosis for children and young people.

In order to help raise as much money as possible we ask that on the day you send your child in to school wearing something purple and make a donation of £1.00 to help to raise as much money as possible for this amazing cause.
