In Post 16, our SRE focuses on the different types of relationships we have, appropriate behaviour, making choices and staying safe. We emphasise that our bodies are our own and that we always have a choice to say no to anything we don’t want.

Judgements are made as to how much more students need to know or are able to understand in terms of actual sex. If necessary, we will seek advice from other agencies or alter the groups to meet these needs.

Our work is based on the Equals SRE units, ‘Let’s Do It’ (Scott, Johns & Bliss) and on Peter Imray’s Base SRE curriculum.
