Priory Woods School and Arts College is a large and successful school for children and young people aged 4 – 19 with severe, profound and multiple learning difficulties and complex needs.

Reception/Year 1 Leader
Head teacher: Miss E Fox
Grade/point: MPS/UPS plus TLR 2a (£3,017), plus SEN1 (£2,384)
Contractual status: Permanent – to start as soon as possible
We are looking for a Leader who will work as part of the school team to ensure that our children and young people continue to receive an outstanding provision.
If you:
- are able to inspire and lead a team;
- are an excellent classroom practitioner;
- have early years experience;
- have some experience working with children with SEND;
- enjoy working in a fast paced, innovative, exciting and supportive environment; and
- have high aspirations and are eager to work towards the best outcomes for children and young people
then we would welcome your application. The post will be suitable for a teacher with either mainstream or special school experience.

Specialist Teaching Assistant – Level 3

Scale point: Grade G points 12 to 15
Salary: £19,936 - £21,050 (actual salary)
Hours: 35 hours per week, term time only plus one week
Contractual status: Permanent
We currently have a vacancy for a 35 hour teaching assistant.
If you are a suitably qualified, highly motivated, creative with high aspirations for all learners, we would like to hear from you.
The successful applicant must have:
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- A good understanding of special educational needs
- Understanding of child development and learning processes
- The ability to work with learners from four to nineteen and with a range of abilities
